Dr. Tejal Rana is an optometrist working in Manhattan, New York. Dr. Rana received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. She then earned her doctorate in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2010. As a student, she distinguished herself both academically and clinically. After completing internships in ocular disease and primary care at New Jersey's Lyons VA Hospital, she continued her training to specialize in contact lenses and pediatric vision.
Dr. Rana provides a full scope of optometric services. Her passion lies in treating patients with specialty contacts such as scleral lenses for dry eyes, keratoconus, post-refractive surgery, and other conditions that may cause irregular corneas. She is also trained to diagnose, treat, and manage conditions such as dry eyes, glaucoma, diabetes, amblyopia, and other eye related diseases. She is a member of the American Optometric Association.
On her free time, Dr. Rana enjoys cooking, discovering new restaurants, playing tennis, and spending quality time with friends and family.
