Dr. Tejal Rana is an optometrist with over 15 years of experience, specializing in managing complex eye conditions with advanced contact lens technologies. A graduate of Rutgers University and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (2010), Dr. Rana trained at New Jersey’s Lyons VA Hospital, focusing on ocular disease and primary care.
Her clinical passion lies in fitting custom lenses for keratoconus, dry eye-related vision issues, and post-refractive surgery care, as well as prescribing Ortho-K lenses for childhood and adult myopia management. Dr. Rana also manages chronic and progressive eye diseases, including dry eye disease, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration.
Known for her warm, attentive approach, Dr. Rana spends an hour with each patient, ensuring every concern is heard and every treatment is tailored. When not in the clinic, she enjoys cooking, playing tennis, exploring New York City’s restaurant scene, and spending time with her family.
